Xylitol Strawberry Ice Cream

My son was begging me for strawberry ice cream, so I made him this version from my old recipe. We made a very low sweet version with only a 1/4 cup xylitol - also because too much xylitol can affect you .. in an unpleasant way. It's delicious and fresh tasting, and my son loved it. Pictured with a gluten free ice cream cone, which probably negates the sugar-free aspect of the ice cream, ha!

Kid’s Chocolate Hazelnut & “Natural Nutella” Protein Pudding Pops

I make smoothie pops for my son all the time, by making a whole food smoothie, then freezing it in the freezer in silicone pop containers. Recently, we've had to really cut back to almost no fruit and sugar for him, because we are following the advice of our great holistic dentist to re-mineralize his teeth. So, I had to come up with a protein pop that had no sugar, no fruit. Pretty difficult to make a smoothie with no fruit.
